The Wild Atlantic Way which runs along the western seaboard of Ireland is a few hundred metres from Carraig Gorm and has been busy this year. Now it is quiet in spite of the early autumn sunshine. Carraig Gorm is quiet too so no dramatic posts are likely. One day we will get round to developing the blog – hopefully before the high season 2015. Now it is not a priority so this is to let visitors know we will cut off the facility for comments for the next few months.
Testing the spring sunshine to-day.
Panoramic Views of Donegal Bay from Carraig Gorm
Blue door and inside a view of blue hills
If you are lucky enough to find us, we guarantee you won’t regret it. Carraig Gorm is a self-catering home from home with stunning views of Donegal Bay on the north-west coast of Ireland. There are empty beaches for walking, surfing along the coast here. The hills are layers of blue and ideal for hikers. A golf course by the sea is in sight. Fishing, cycling, running or just idling the time away by an open fire. There’s something for everyone.
